I went to Paris, France for an Extrasolar Planets conference in the first week of July, 2003. My poster. Then I met up with a friend of mine from college, Corinne Gilliam, and we visited the beach in Normandy where the Americans landed in 1944.

	Large -- Medium When I got back to Tucson, I found that the Aspen fire in the Catalina mountains, which has been burning for about 3 weeks now, had dropped drastically in elevation. This is me in front of the fire from my roof, with flash-fill.
